Fire Prevention Control Method for Drilling Rig Maintenance
The main cause of fires in borehole drilling machines is its own fire sources and combustibles. The fire sources include heating parts and electric sparks. The combustibles include fuel, hydraulic oil, and other combustibles. Rotary drill fire control runs through the entire process of design, manufacturing, use, maintenance, and repair, and mainly describes the fire control method of crawler drilling rigs from the perspective of maintenance.
1. Repair
(1) Frequently check the leakage of fuel and lubrication system. If there is a leakage, immediately find the leaking part and wipe off the leaked fuel or lubricating oil after troubleshooting.
(2) Check the damage, short circuit and loosening of the circuit, and fix the problem in time. Check and confirm that the fuse used complies with the regulations. If the fuse used does not meet the regulations, it should be replaced immediately. If the fuse is open or short-circuited, find out the cause and eliminate the fault before replacing the fuse.

2. Maintenance
(1) When refueling the fuel tank, prevent the fuel leaking from the refueling port from splashing on the exhaust manifold, turbocharger, and other high-temperature components. The engine oil inlet pipe should be 150mm away from the exhaust manifold, turbocharger, and other high-temperature parts to ensure that the oil inlet hose, fuel tank, etc. do not touch these high-temperature parts.
(2) The interior of the engine room should be checked frequently. If there are sundries such as dead leaves, paper pieces, etc., they should be cleaned up in time.
(3) When the engine is running, the oil level of the engine oil dipstick cannot be checked to prevent the operator from being burned.
(4) When filling the fuel tank, avoid overflow, and ensure that there is no source of fire or smoking nearby.
(4) When filling the fuel tank, avoid overflow, and ensure that there is no source of fire or smoking nearby.
"Fire is more violent than tigers, and prevent it from happening." In the design, overhaul, and use and maintenance of construction machineries such as rotary drills, the fire prevention policy of "prevention first, combined prevention and elimination" should be carefully implemented, and effective heat insulation and fire prevention measures should be taken to achieve the purpose of preventing and controlling fires.
